Miranda Lambert got quite the birthday present this year, as the country singer, who celebrated turning 27 on Wednesday, walked away from the 2010 CMA Awards with four statues.
Winning in the top female vocalist category, as well as for album of the year for Revolution, Lambert's single, "The House That Built Me," was honored for both song and video of the year.
Accepting the female vocalist award from country legend Loretta Lynn, a choked up Lambert said, "The woman that paved the way for all females, ever, in country music is standing here beside me and handed me this award ... I'm going to keep going for the other women in this industry."
Lambert got to share the celebrations with her fiance Blake Shelton, who took home the award for male vocalist of the year.
But it was CMAs' cohost Brad Paisley (Carrie Underwood shared the hosting duties), who was honored with the night's top prize. While accepting the entertainer of the year award, the singer paid tribute to his late grandfather, thanked his wife for "rescuing me from despair" and sent a heartfelt shout-out to country music fans.
"It sounds likes a cliché when you say thanks to the fans, but the great thing about country fans is when you say fans, I don't even mean mine. You guys are loyal to everyone in the room. It's the most amazing, loyal fan base in the world."
The night included other big moments, as Gwyneth Paltrow made her country music debut, Reba McEntire performed a version of Beyonce's "If I Were A Boy," and crossover artists Lady Antebellum won both single of the year for their ubiquitous "Need You Now" and vocal group of the year.
