Jersey Shore fans might have a situation on their hands, as Mike Sorrentino says his time drinking and fist-pumping for MTV may be coming to a close.
"Hopefully by the end of the year I'll be in a movie," he told E! News, while partying in Dallas before the Super Bowl. "There's only so long you can rule the reality world."
Though The Situation has big future plans, he is going to hang around with Snooki and Co. for a tad bit longer.
"Maybe another year or so of reality, and then I'm gonna graduate to movies," he said. "It's like Michael Jordan. There's only so long you can keep winning them rings."
The man with the enviable abs is confident he has what it takes to make it on the big screen.
"You gotta move on and try something different," Sorrentino said. "I love to be in front of the camera; I love performing; I love entertaining so movies is definitely the next step."
But before he packs up all his T-shirts and says "Ciao" to his GTL family, The Sitch is heading to Italy to film season 4 of the show that made him famous.
"I'm actually gonna get me some Rosetta Stone," he said of his plans before the trip. "I got two months to learn it. My name comes from Italy so I've got a little bit of heritage there. Plus maybe I can get a hometown Italian chick."
